I’m sure many of you are wondering as to why my address is “The Battle Queen”, huh? Well allow me to explain that before anything else. I chose it for two reasons. The first, is because it’s catchy. But, the second is that it represents us: the Body of Christ. We are called the Brideof Christ. We also call Christ the King. So if Christ is the King, and we are His Bride… then we must be the Queen, right? Figuratively speaking, of course. Hey, it’s a stretch… On top of all of this is the reality that we are, in fact, in a “war of the spirit,” (Ephesians 6:12). So if we are in a war, than we are in a battlefield in many ways… Queen+Battle= Battle Queen… Thus, The Battle Queen was birthed!

So, now that I have that cleared out of the way, allow me to explain what I hope to accomplish with The Battle Queen blog. Everyone has a blog, which I recognize. I also recognize that because of this, there is sort of an overused feeling to it all. But, I am not the greatest at communication, and I figure this is a great way to get all of you guys in one spot, and for all of you to see what I am up to. It won’t always take the form of me writing, though. I realize many of you are a little A.D.D. like myself, and sometimes see large paragraphs and sigh out, “Ugh! I have to read ALL of that?” I’m the kind of guy who doesn’t really enjoy routine. So, I may make videos and post them on here as well. It’ll mix things up, and it’ll be fun for us all.

The truth is, I want you all to be a part of what I am doing. But the problem that many of you may have encountered with me, is not feeling like you actually ARE a part of what I am doing. So, this is my swing at that problem. Also, I would like to apologize to any of you who may have felt ignored or not not included. You mean a lot to me, and you have no idea just how much I am touched that you would condone, and support what I am doing, AND what others like me are doing. So, thank you all from the bottom of my heart!

Bottom line, I want you all to be on the “up-and-up” of what I am doing in pretty much every way. So that means every aspect. I’m looking to figure out how to post a “Prayer Wall” on here as well. You also get to hear about what YWAM as a whole is up to, and what is going on in parts of the world that you may not necessarily hear on the news… so lucky you! I want you all to realize that I am representing you on the field. So, with that said, I want you to feel like you are a part of my life, so you can get to know me better, and ultimately, feel like you are “on the field” with me.
I’ll keep you all posted and make The Battle Queen blog page quite a bit more “appealing to the eye” in the near future.
